Moment of Cool: When Jerry Kramer Got The Call...

It's as simple as a knock on the door from the man in charge of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Big Dave Baker...

Ray Lewis, Randy Moss and Brian Urlacher were all selected yesterday in their first year of eligibility and join Terrell Owens and Brian Dawkins as modern-era enshrinees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Executive Bobby Beathard and senior committee nominee Robert Brazile are also headed for Canton.

But the one name that FINALLY got in after an entirely-too-long period is Packer lineman Jerry Kramer.

It took too damn long, really...

There were Facebook pages, petitions, and any other kind of public groundswell that you could have thought and it took 50 years after Kramer retired to get this done. Cinsidering his resume, you always wondered what in the hell is taking these guys so long...???

Wonder no more...

Jeff Alexander caught up with Kramer after his 11th nomination finally got it done, thanks to our friends at WBAY-TV in Green Bay

See what we mean...???

Makes you wonder what that maid had going through her mind...
