UNLV to Honor 1st Responders at Saturday Night Game

And no, we aren't going to preach politically--rather we're just mentioning a story about the local college football team doing something to acknowledge those who tried their best to help people in need.
The University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV) announced Tuesday their game with San Diego State will be "Heroes Night", an opportunity to recognize in front of a large crowd---1st Responders.
The school is but three miles from the Mandalay Bay hotel and nearby area where Jason Aldean was performing when the horrific shooting occurred.
UNLV Head Coach Tony Sanchez talked Tuesday about why he and the entire UNLV community felt so strongly about trying to do something.
