Raming It Down The Beavers Throats. Colorado State Defeats Oregon State 58-27 To Open New Stadium
If you listened to the OSG Sports Report Humpty Hump show the dropped on Wednesday you heard Ryan Klous from Inside The Rams say excitement was an understatement regarding Colorado State's home opener against Oregon State.
It's not often a Pac 12 team comes to Ft. Collins but Oregon State served as that sacrificial lamb that took the butt kicking 58-27.
Colorado State head coach Mike Bobo reminded his team you only get one shot to open a new stadium. 37,583 fans did their part turning CSU's new home into a loud den. A party that reached it's peak in the second half when the Rams outscored the Beavers 34-7 in the second half while putting up 24 points in the 4th quarter alone.
Not a bad opening act however the Rams have a short week to prepare for another Pac 12 school, the annual in-state showdown with Colorado Friday in Denver
I would be interested in what the Las Vegas line is on this one. Colorado State has tremendous momentum plus has a game under it's belt.
It's a rivalry game to which adds to the drama.
