USMNT vs. El Salvador: There's No Biting or Nipple Twisting in Soccer

Sometimes "Soccer Ain't Pretty"....Wednesday nights U.S Mens National Soccer team match vs. El Salvador in the Gold Cup is a perfect example of why.

The USMNT got the 2-0 win in the Quarterfinals, but it was some of the "In-Game" silliness that likely will be remembered.

The most memorable moments came when El Salvador's Henry Romero grabbed Jozy Altidore's nipple and twisted it....after biting him on the shoulder....

Yes, really, this happened....

Romero had already earned a Yellow Card way back in the 1st half of the match---but amazingly despite Altidore's attempt at a dramatic soccer injury---nothing was called....

If you are keeping track, the USMNT plays Costa Rica Saturday in the Gold Cup semifinals, a game which we---and most others suspect will be lacking the bizarre behavior of Wednesday's game....
