Braves vs. Nationals Delayed 3 Hrs for Rain That Never Happened

This is a story about a Major League Baseball game between the Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals that was delayed 3 hours for rain....except it never really rained.

For reasons unexplained, The National League East leading Nationals determined that a very slow approaching line of rain would postpone their game against the 2nd place Braves.

So at 7:05 pm, when the first pitch was scheduled....nothing happened. Nationals fans, Braves fans, writers and others---well, all were perplexed....
