NPSL Week 17 Western Review/Preview

In the west,the run-in is in full song...

In the Golden Gate Conference, last week Sonoma County put four on EBFC while Napa Valley (8pts, 5th) picked up their first win of the season in a 1-0 win over CD Aguiluchos.

This week, Sacramento Gold (16pts, 2nd) host EBFC (11pts, 4th) and Aguiluchos (25pts, 1st) host Sonoma County (13pts, 3rd)...

In the Northwest, everyone split their weeks- OSA FC won at home over FCM Portland but lost to Spokane (9pts, 5th). PDX FC lost both ends at Pierce County FC and FCM.

This week, FCM (15pts, 1st) hosts PDX (10pts, 4th) and Pierce County(5pts, 6th) host Kitsap (14pts, 2nd) before going to OSA FC (11pts, 3rd).

In the Southwest last week, it was three shut outs and a shoot out: SoCal shut out Oxnard (16th, 7th), Coras shutout Corinthians, and FC Arizona (37pts, 1st) shut out Temecula. The shoot out was Albion SC Pros winning 4-3 over Orange County FC. Tim Reintgen talked to Albion PROS Head Coach Ziggy Korytoski

This week, City of Angels (4pts, 8th) host Temecula (17pts, 5th). Albion (28pts, 4th) host SoCal SC (17pts, 5th) and the goal is to finish in the top half of the ladder- something they think is quite possible...

Corinthians (2pts, 9th) host Orange County (29pts, 3rd). Sunday, Coras (32pts, 2nd) host FC Arizona.
