NPSL Week 17 Northeast Review/Preview


It's a lot of teams and not a lot of space prepping for the post-season...

In the Atlantic Blue, the number seems to be five... Brooklyn put 5 on Greater Lowell in a win, but was shut out 1-0 by TSF FC. TSF also drew Phantoms at 2. Elm City had a 6-point week with wins over Hartford City (2-1) and Phantoms (5-0). Cosmos B also shut out Lowell,you guessed it, 5-0.

This week, Phantoms (4pts, 5th) host Brooklyn (19pts, 2nd) and Mariners. The Italians also host Lowell after they visit TSF (17pts, 3rd). Elm City (25pts, 1st) host Cosmos B (16pts, 4th) and Kingston Stockade FC host TSF Monday night.

In the Atlantic White, Stockade shut out Mariners. Boston City split their week with a loss hosting NYAC and a win at Mariners (5pts, 6th). Elm City won at Hartford City and Creative Motion Video have the highlights

And Rhode Island Reds won 4-3 at NYAC.

This week, Mariners (7pts, 5th) go to Stockade (19pts, 1st) who also host TSF. Hartford City (12pts, 3rd) hosts Boston City (17pts, 2nd)- and these two have a preview of the match...

Rhode Island (10pts, 4th) also has a home and home with Greater Lowell (3pts, 6th)...

In the Keystone, Clarkstown Eagles (14pts, 3rd) split their week with a draw with NJ Copa and a 6-1 win over Electric City Shock. ECS started their week with a 2-0 win over Binghamton.

Junior Lone Star won a 4-3 shootout at Hershey FC and West Chester drew 2-2 at BuxMont Torch (14pts, 3rd).

This week, Binghamton (0pts, 8th) hosts West Chester (17pts, 1st). Hershey (6pts, 7th) hosts Clarkstown. Copa (17pts, 1st) hosts BuxMont and Lone Star (12pts, 5th) hosts ECS (11pts, 6th).

In the Mid-Atlantic, last week VBC FC (9pts, 1st) beat FC Frederick (9pts, 1st), 1-0. This week, Fredericksburg FC (4pts, 3rd) hosts FC Frederick. Legacy 76 is idle (2pts, 4th).
