NPSL Week 15 Midwest Review/Preview

First, in the East, a busy weekend only gave the Rochester Lancers (13pts, 2nd) full points in both match-ups: a 2-0 win at home against Syracuse FC and a 3-0 win hosting AFC Cleveland (7pts, 4th).

Erie Commodores (10pts, 3rd) and Dayton Dynamo (16pts, 1st) each won once. Erie beat Fort Pitt (3pts, 7th), 1-0, while Dayton also beat Fort Pitt 2-1. Here's that match...

AFC Cleveland beat FC Buffalo (5pts, 6th) to start their weekend, 4-1. Here's head coach Mike Sesar

And then the Wolves split a home-and-home with Syracuse (6pts, 5th)- the home team winning each time.

In the Great Lakes, the road teams won three of the four match-ups last week. AFC Ann Arbor beat FC Indiana. Here's head coach Eric Rudland after the fact...

Lansing United beat Grand Rapids (7pts, 4th). Here's the highlights...

Michigan Stars (6pts, 5th) and Milwaukee Torrent (5pts, 6th) were the only draw- at twos. And Detroit City won at Kalamazoo, 1-0.

This week, AFC Ann Arbor (21pts, 1st) hosts Milwaukee before they go to FC Indiana (4pts, 7th) mid-week. Michigan Stars host Kalamazoo (4pts, 7th) before KFC host Lansing (18pts, 2nd) Sunday and Grand Rapids host Le Rouge (11pts, 3rd).

In the North, the biggest mover was VSLT FC (13pts, 2nd) with two wins- over Dakota Fusion (12pts, 3rd) and Duluth FC (10pts, 5th). This week, Dakota Fusion host Sioux Falls and travel to Duluth. LC Aris (0pts, 8th) host Med City and travel to Minneapolis City (10pts, 5th). MCSC start their weekend hosting VSLT. TwinStars (11pts, 4th) go to Duluth and host Med City.
