NPSL Week 14 Western Review/Preview

In the Golden Gate Conference, CD Aguiluchos has gotten out to a big lead and last week was pretty light on the pitch. The only match was a 2-2 draw with Sacramento and Sonoma County.

This week, Sacramento (10pts, 2nd) hosts Napa Valley (4pts, 5th) and Sonoma County (10pts, 2nd) hosts the Stompers (7pts, 4th). Aguiluchos (25 points, 1st) has the week off.

In the Northwest, everyone is pretty much still within reach of each other. And with Kitsap's win over PDX mid-week, three teams have seven points- PDX, OSA FC, and Kitsap themselves. Two teams have 6 points- FCM Portland and Spokane. P:ierce County is still looking for their first points of the season.

This week, Pierce County is at Kitsap and hosting OSA mid-week. FCM hosts Spokane before they go to PDX FC the following day.

In the Southwest, FC Arizona is out front (30pts, 1st) with some folks in close- Orange County FC (26pts, 2nd) and Riverside Coras (26pts, 2nd). Albion SC Pros are 4th at 21 points. The next three teams are battling- SoCal SC and Temecula at 14 points (tied at 5th) and Oxnard Guerreros have 13 points for 6th.

SC Corinthians have 2 points and City of Angels 1 point so far.
