NPSL Week 13 West Review/Preview

In the Golden Gate Conference, the tight matches continued in Week 12 with Napa Valley and Sonoma County drawing at one and CD Aguiluchos traveling to East Bay to beat the Stompers, 2-1

East Bay has the match for us...

The division is all Aguiluchos- still undefeated this season (25 points, 8-0-1) with the other four teams all within five points of each other. Sonoma County and Sacramento have 9 points each, EBFC at 7 points, and Napa Valley 1839 at 4.

In the Northwest Conference, everyone is still in reach of each other: PDX FC are 2-0 to start. Spokane FC Shadow have 5. Kitsap and OSA FC have 4 and Pierce County are still looking for their first win.

Last week, Kitsap beat FCM Portland, 3-2, and Spokane beat Pierce County 2-1. Here's Kitsap's recap

This week, PDX are at Spokane and host Kitsap Thursday. Kitsap start their week at home against OSA FC. OSA travels to Pierce County Wednesday. Pierce starts their week at FCM Portland.

In the Southwest Conference, it was another week of big numbers being put on the board: 5 by Orange County FC in the 5-1 win over Oxnard. 7 in FC Arizona's 7-0 win over City of Angels. 3 by SoCal SC in their win over Corinthians and Riverside beating Temecula FC 2-1.

Some news off the pitch for SoCal SC is that Daniel Gamba is stepping down as GM. He looks back on his tenure and takes responsibility for the team's results...
